FastThe SMooTH Viewer is optimised for showing images and video over (Wide Area) networks. It uses an intelligent algorithm (similar to Google Earth) to send only the required information over the network, thereby reducing the amount of data sent, whilst still providing all the pixel-data that can be shown on the client.
Video can be streamed. Multi-frame ultrasound (for instance cardiac echo’s) can be shown at high speed at the client (up to 90 fps). The solution is fully scalable and can be used from small clinics to national viewing solutions with thousands of concurrent users. |
